Pinwheel Campaign - Home of the Innocents

Social connections are key in preventing child abuse and neglect. Being at home can cause emotions to run high as well as increase stress and anxiety. Home of the Innocents is committed to providing support for families during these stressful times to prevent instances of child abuse.

You can commit to prevent by making a donation on our website.

You can show your commitment by printing, coloring, and displaying our pinwheel for prevention picture in your window for your neighbors to see! Your support is important to all children across the state.

Wear Blue Day is Friday, April 3; a day to bring awareness to child abuse prevention. Wear blue and post a photo on social media with the hashtags #theHomepreventschildabuse, #CAPM2020, #WearBlue4KYKids, and #PinwheelsForPrevention to show your support!

In 2008, Prevent Child Abuse America introduced the pinwheel as the national symbol for child abuse prevention through Pinwheels for PreventionĀ®. By its very nature, the pinwheel connotes whimsy and childlike notions. In essence, it has come to serve as the physical embodiment, or reminder, of the great childhoods we want for all children.

Make your donation now and show your supportĀ for child abuse prevention!
