January President’s Award: Danika Manning
Emmory Shipley, Communications Coordinator
Each month, President and CEO Paul Robinson awards a team member who exemplifies our core values of excellence, compassion, wellness, and empowerment. By living our values, they achieve the Home’s mission to enrich the lives of children and families with hope, health, and happiness.
The January President’s Award was presented to Danika Manning, Patient Access Representative at Open Arms Children’s Health. She has worked with us for four years, assisting our team members and patients.
Danika was nominated for the excellent care she provides; she remembers every patient’s story and thoroughly checks their charts to ensure follow-up. She also trains and communicates effectively with the team she leads. The atmosphere of trust and confidence she creates makes an ideal work environment!
As a Patient Access Representative, her main responsibilities include checking insurance, scheduling appointments, and updating patient information. What Danika enjoys most about this job is helping families receive the affordable health care they need. She especially enjoys assisting refugee families who are struggling to adjust to their new home and are in need of a helping hand.
We are grateful for Danika’s thoughtfulness for her patients and proud to have her on our team!
