YAB members and residents at the Capitol
Our Pathways HOME Program recently took Youth Action Board members and our residents to the Capitol to address two issues young adults face. They discussed the cost of IDs for those experiencing homelessness, and the CROWN Act, which protects Kentuckians from discrimination because of their hair texture or style. Virtual Heroes for the Home
June 3 starts our second Virtual Heroes for the Home, our largest fundraising event of the year. Again this year, we’re coming together virtually as a community to make a significant difference that will benefit the children and families we serve.

Last year, Heroes for the Home generated more than $222,000 to support programs and services provided for more than 10,000 children and families in our community. Without your support, all that we do to enrich the lives of children and families with hope, health, and happiness would not be possible.

Therapeutic Loving Foster Care and Adoption (TLC) program

We are proud to support Bella’s Bill for CMV – KY (SB 91), which will be introduced to legislation during the 2021 Kentucky General Assembly. The goal of Bella’s Bill is to pass universal newborn congenital cytomegalovirus (CMV) screening, educate women of childbearing age about CMV, and advocate for vaccine development.
