Halloween Wish List
Our children’s needs are often more than love and compassion – they like to fill the holidays with fun just like any other child! You can help us get ready for Halloween by donating the following needed items:
• Halloween costumes; all sizes including adult and plus. Must be child-appropriate
• costume accessories: headbands, tutus, glasses
• simple costume shirts
• candy: big bags and individually bagged treats
• Halloween decor for door decorating
• Halloween party decor
Label all boxes and/or bags with items from THIS list Halloween.
Due to limited space, used items are not accepted. Items can be dropped off at our main entrance Monday–Friday, 8:30 am – 6 pm and Saturday 9 am – 4 pm. All donations are 100% tax deductible.

Join us for our Fall Family Festival October 7, 2 pm – 5 pm. There are activities for everyone, including a bounce house, inflatable obstacle course, games, pumpkin painting, hayrides, and more. There’s also a Staycation raffle prize package worth $1,500, you don’t want to miss it!
Our next quarterly Lunch at Home program is Wednesday, October 10, 11 am – 12:30 pm. Learn more about how our organization enriches the lives of children and families with hope, health, and happiness! You’ll get a tour of our campus and learn ways you can get involved. A light lunch is provided. This is the last Lunch at Home of 2018.

Taste of Louisville
During Taste of Louisville at Churchill Downs on October 17 from 6 pm – 9 pm, try tastings from Louisville’s best restaurants for only $65! Enjoy the event and support the Home – 50% of sales from tickets we sell are donated to our organization. Holiday Magic
The holidays are just around the corner! Our Holiday Magic program matches a donor with a child to provide them gifts for the holidays. Cookies and Cocoa Party
Families of children with hearing loss are invited to Open Arms Children’s Health’s Cookies and Cocoa Party on Saturday, November 3 from 10 am – 12 pm. Enjoy cookies and cocoa while watching holiday movies! Parents have the opportunity to meet, socialize, and discuss strategies to manage holiday activities for children with hearing loss.
