AmericanTrucks and their Positive Payload Program
Emmory Shipley, Communications Coordinator
We are excited to be considered for a $2,000 Positive Payload Grant from AmericanTrucks! Their Positive Payload Program awards grants to non-profit organizations who use and rely on pickup trucks to better their community. The Home is eligible thanks to our trusty Ford F-150! Our Ford truck primarily serves our main campus for maintenance work around our 23-acre campus, transportation of donations and materials, landscaping in our 8.5 acre backyard, and more.
The Home is grateful to AmericanTrucks for this opportunity. If awarded, funding will support children receiving Emergency Shelter and Residential Treatment services at the Home. Following the abuse, abandonment, and neglect these youth have experienced, the Home works to provide loving care and therapeutic services, with a focus on education and building resilience.
MPAmericanTrucks provides pickups that are the backbone of the American workforce. Similarly, Home of the Innocents provides children and family services that are the backbone of our community’s most at-risk populations.
