Every child deserves a loving, stable place to call home, but right now there are hundreds of Kentucky children and teens who have no home. These children are the victims of abuse, abandonment and neglect, and they need your love.

Foster parents come from all income levels, educational backgrounds and a variety of home environments. It all starts with a desire to help and the willingness to provide patience and love to a child who has experienced so little of either.

The Therapeutic Loving foster Care (TLC) program partners children with "teaching parents" who share their hearts and homes with children until they can return to their parents or are permanently adopted.

When you decide to become a TLC foster parent you'll join an extended family of other parents and childcare professionals who provide you with a network of support. TLC parents receive:
* specialized preparation training
* access to on-going parent support groups
* access to on-going training
* 24-hour on-call assistance
* scheduled "free" time from fostering
* foster care reimbursement paid monthly

Therapeutic Loving foster Care parents will be considered individually, regardless of marital status. Our minimum
requirements include being at least 21 years of age, in reasonably good health, financially stable and having adequate living space for
children.
